About

Tammy Jo Vroom

I have over 25 years of experience in human services, working with clients of various ages and backgrounds. I see clients as individuals, couples and families. I have particular experience with children, adolescents and their families. My specialties include trauma, grief and loss, behavioral and academic issues and custody/divorce situations. In additions to these specialties, I am comfortable addressing issues of all types.

Philosophy

Daily hardships, unexpected life events, and unforeseen trauma occur to us all. I strive to encourage clients to open pathways to healing and recovery through harnessing their own inner strength and skills. When we are fully engaged in the process of living, we are able to recognize and understand the gifts we have and been given. I listen’s to people’s stories and help them feel comfortable expressing their values, thoughts, and needs.
